What the fee page prints
Opened 22 October 2026. The dollars are on Coastal Community's other account fees page. An NSF returned item fee is $10.00. An unauthorized overdraft is $5.00 per item. A stop payment in a branch is $15.00. An electronic stop payment is $10.00. Holding outgoing funds is $10.00. A replacement member card is $5.00.
An official cheque is $9.95. A chargeback is $7.50. A US draft is $9.95. A foreign currency draft is $9.95. An unencoded cheque clearing is $10.00. A US cheque drawn on a Canadian account is $15.00. A transfer of the balance to a credit union or another financial institution is $25.00. A registered funds transfer (LIF, RDSP, RESP, RIF, RSP, or TFSA) is $50.00.
A coverdraft transfer is $5.00. An assisted transfer by telephone is $5.00. The page says electronic funds transfer prices depend on the currency, the amount, and the destination. It does not print one dollar for every wire. The phone on the page is 1.888.741.1010.

Not Coast Capital
Coastal Community and Coast Capital are different credit unions. Coast Capital's personal NSF line is on Coast Capital NSF fee. Use the name printed on your statement. Asking them to remove a fee already charged is a request. They can say no.
