Connect First account fees

What the consumer column prints
Opened 22 October 2026. The dollars are on Connect First's financial service fees PDF. Fees are in Canadian dollars unless the row says otherwise. The consumer column prints NSF returns at $48.00. Coverdraft, an electronic transfer from another Connect First account, is $5.00. An unauthorized overdraft is $7.50 per month plus interest. An accommodation fee, for transactions cleared that cause an unauthorized overdraft, is $5.00 per item. An overdraft phone call for a manual transfer is $5.00. Overdraft protection, if used, is $5.00 or interest, whichever is higher.
Cancellation of a sent Interac e-Transfer is $3.00. A balance of account transfer is $25.00. An incoming wire is $15.00. A registered plan transfer out is $100.00 per contract, unless it is waived for members with a Connect First wealth advisor. An NSF or late loan fee is $48.00. Closed accounts at 90 days are $20.00. Closing the relationship within 90 days is $25.00. A trace or stop payment on a US draft is $25.00. An AFT return from an external institution is $45.00. That AFT line is not the $48 NSF return.
The PDF also has business and community columns. Use the consumer column for a personal account, and match the name on the statement. A file that says Connect First is not a Servus schedule, and a Servus page is not this one. Connect First is an Alberta credit union, so this page uses its own PDF rather than the federal bank NSF cap. Asking them to remove a fee already charged is a request. They can say no.
