How a fee guide is checked
A dollar amount in a fee guide comes from that bank's own published fee schedule. The guide names the schedule and the date the page was opened. If the schedule does not print a number, the guide says so. It does not fill in a number from another bank, or from a page that is not the bank's.
How a charge guide is checked
A charge guide says what the line is, why the bank shows that name, and how to check or cancel it. The steps come from the company's own help pages. Those pages are linked under Sources. If the company does not print the exact letters your bank uses, the guide says that.
