How to download a Truist statement PDF
Truist says you can view and download statements after you sign in, and it names Documents as the place to start. It does not print every button after that for a checking account. This page leaves those buttons out. Expenvo does not sign in to Truist, and the file stays on your device.

Where Truist says to start
Truist's mortgage statements page says you can view and download statements by signing in at truist.com/signin or in the mobile app. Select Documents. On the app, select More at the bottom to see Documents. Then select Accounts and the account. The next step on that page is Tax Forms, which is the mortgage tax form, not the monthly statement. This guide does not treat that click as the way to save a checking statement.
Truist's bank services agreement (PDF) says an electronic statement is provided in online or mobile banking, and that you need software that can view a PDF in order to keep it. Save the statement PDF once Documents shows it. Do not upload a screenshot of recent transactions in its place.
How long they stay
Truist's digital banking page for wealth clients says how long paperless statements can be viewed and downloaded: up to 7 years for deposit and brokerage accounts, up to 2 years for credit cards, up to 24 months for home equity lines of credit, personal loans, and auto loans, and up to 18 months for mortgage and trust accounts. The time for your product is in Documents in Truist online banking.
The ESIGN consent (PDF) says you can print or download an electronic communication, or ask Truist to mail a paper copy. Truist may charge a service charge for that paper copy, with notice first. The number on that page is 844-4TRUIST (844-487-8478). Use the number on your statement if it disagrees. A US dollar statement stays in USD. After you upload the PDF, Expenvo lists the charges, the bank fees, and the subscriptions on your device.
Questions
- Does Expenvo sign in to the bank and download the PDF for me?
- No. You download the PDF from the bank or card site. Expenvo reads that file on your device. It does not ask for the bank password.
- Can I upload a photo of the statement instead?
- A photo is harder to read. Use the PDF the bank creates, with text you can select. If the file asks for a password, download a copy that does not. Expenvo cannot open a locked PDF.
- What if the menu names do not match this page?
- Banks move buttons. Follow the official help page linked below. This guide is a reading of that page, not a second set of rules.
