Mountain America overdraft fee
Mountain America's share rates, effective August 1, 2026, print $25 for a paid overdraft and $9 for an unpaid ACH or draft. The overdraft page caps that $25 fee at five a day. The wider table is US overdraft fees by bank. Alliant, which prints no NSF fee, is on Alliant Credit Union overdraft fee.

Paid items and unpaid items
Opened 22 October 2026. The fee list is in Mountain America's share rates and fee schedule, effective August 1, 2026. Overdraft is $25. Unpaid item, ACH or draft, is $9. MyStyle Checking is $7 if it is not offset. An ATM transaction or inquiry at a machine the credit union does not own is $1.50, and a third party can add its own charge. A stop payment item is $20. A mailed paper statement is $2, and it is free to members over 60 with checking.
The overdraft services page says the overdraft fee is $25 with a maximum of five per day, for Standard Overdraft Privilege and for the debit card opt-in. Five fees is $125, not one $25 charge for the day. Standard Overdraft Privilege covers ACH and checks and leaves out debit card transactions unless you opt in. If the account had enough available funds when a debit card purchase was authorized, the page says no overdraft fee is charged for that purchase.
Linked Account Protection can move money from another deposit account or a loan you chose. Except for interest on a loan, the page says there is no fee if the overdraft is paid from another deposit account or loan. That transfer is used first when it is set up with Overdraft Privilege. Asking Mountain America to remove a fee already charged is a request. They can say no.
