Overdraft, wires, and other fees
The disclosure prints an Insufficient Funds Fee of $28.00 for ACH and check transactions of $25 or more. The Overdraft Fee is also $28.00, for transactions of $25 or more, including ACH, checks, and, for members enrolled in the overdraft service, debit card. The checking page footnote says Bellco may charge up to $28 each time it pays an overdraft created by an everyday debit card transaction, will not charge a fee if the transaction is less than $25, and will not overdraw the account for everyday debit card transactions unless you opt in.
A domestic wire is $20.00 and an international wire is $40.00. Both are free with Platinum Checking. A stop payment is $31.00. A paper statement is $2.00. A money order and an official check are $5.00 each, and both are free with Platinum. Inactivity is $5.00 a month after 1 year with no contact or activity and combined deposits under $500. Closing a savings or checking account within 180 days is $25.00. The Visa international service fee is up to 1% on a transaction in foreign currency with a Visa debit or ATM card.
