What a Disney Plus charge means on your statement

People look up DISNEY PLUS because that is the text on the statement. Disney+ help pages do not print that exact line. They tell you to open Billing History if Disney+ bills you directly.

Last checked: Oct 2026

Why the line looks like that

Disney's US billing page says that if Disney+ bills you, you can see up to two years of charges and refunds in Billing History. You need an active subscription, and you have to use a web browser. The Disney+ app cannot open that page. An invoice shows the date, the amount, and applicable taxes. If Billing History is empty, Disney says a third party partner may be billing you.

The Canada charges page is not the same article. It says the subscription may be billed monthly or annually. If Disney+ bills you, sign in at DisneyPlus.com in a browser, open Account, find Subscription, and select Billing History. A date opens the amount, taxes, and the date. It does not say the history covers two years. If a third party bills you, use that provider.

A different amount is not always a second subscription

Disney's US and Canada pages on an unexpected amount list the same kinds of reasons. Changing to a higher tier can add a prorated charge before the next bill. When a promotion ends, the price can move to the current plan price. You may have more than one subscription. A price increase is sent ahead of time. Future bills then show the plan total.

The Canada price page lists prices for new subscriptions as of 20 May 2026. Standard with ads is CAD $8.99 a month. Standard is CAD $15.99 a month or CAD $159.99 a year. Premium is CAD $16.99 a month or CAD $169.99 a year. Extra member add ons on that page are CAD $6.99 a month on Standard with ads, and CAD $7.99 a month on Standard or Premium. If you signed up before that date, Disney says you will see a price change on or after 1 June 2026. The page also lists bundles. This guide does not copy those bundle prices.

The US price page lists $11.99 a month for Disney+ with ads, and $18.99 a month or $189.99 a year for Disney+ Premium. It does not print the letters USD next to those amounts. It also lists other plans. Use the price page for the country on the account, not the other country's table.

Cancel, and what a refund timing means

Disney's US cancel page says to sign in at DisneyPlus.com in a browser, then Profile, Account, the Disney+ subscription under Subscription, and Cancel Subscription. Access continues until the end of the current term. If a third party billed you, cancel with that partner. The Canada charges page does not print those cancel clicks.

If Disney+ approves a refund for a subscription it bills, both the US and Canada charges pages say the amount is usually returned to the original payment method within 7 to 10 business days. Billing History shows the refund. Upload the statement to Expenvo and it lists every subscription it finds. Expenvo does not cancel Disney+ for you. Steps for stopping the next charge are on how to cancel a subscription you found on a statement.
