What a YouTube Premium charge means on your statement
A charge whose name includes YouTube is often YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium. Google's help pages do not print the exact letters a bank puts on the statement, and they do not print a membership price. The price and the payment method are in your YouTube membership and on the Google payments receipt.

How to match the charge
Google's billing article says to open youtube.com/paid_memberships. Under Memberships, each plan lists the membership type and the price. If you joined through Apple, that page says Billed by Apple, and you manage it with Apple. Receipts are at payments.google.com, under Activity. Open a transaction to see the total amount billed, the date and time, the status, and which payment method was charged.
The help pages do not print a card descriptor. The name on a statement usually includes YouTube. Match the date and the amount to the receipt before you treat the line as someone else's charge. If a charge looks wrong, Google points you to its list of reasons for an unexpected charge, and to a way to report a charge you believe someone else made.
When the charge repeats
YouTube says you are charged the membership price at the start of each billing cycle until you cancel. After you cancel, you are not charged again unless you subscribe again. Benefits continue until the end of the billing period. If the membership is paused, you are not charged until you resume it, and you are billed at the new price when you resume.
The same billing page says the currency Google uses may not be the currency of your home country. In the European Economic Area, some Google purchases add value-added tax, and you can request a VAT invoice. In India, YouTube says bank rules can require you to verify payment details again so a repeating membership continues.
How to stop the next charge
On a computer, YouTube's cancel article says to open youtube.com/paid_memberships, then Manage membership, Deactivate, and continue through the reason until you confirm the cancel. If you signed up on Google Play, cancel there. If you joined from the YouTube app on an iPhone, cancel with Apple. An Android phone uses the profile picture, then Paid memberships. If the membership is already canceled, paid memberships is where YouTube says to look.

- If the membership says Billed by Apple, manage it with Apple. If you signed up on Google Play, cancel in Google Play. Deleting the YouTube app is not the cancel step on these pages.
