A disclosure on that page says Free Checking is free, and fees for additional services may still apply. The fee schedule does not print a Free Checking row. It prints Desert Safe Spend at $4.95 a month. That fee is waived with $250 or more in total qualifying direct deposits per month, or for active ASU or NAU students and employees. Footnote 1 says a qualifying direct deposit is an electronic deposit of income through the ACH network. Transfers between accounts, mobile check deposits, incoming Zelle payments, and branch or ATM deposits do not qualify.

A money market low balance fee is $15, waived with a $2,000 minimum daily balance. That fee does not apply to a Jumbo Money Market Account. A monthly inactive sub-account fee is $5. Footnote 2 waives it for primary members under age 22. Footnote 4 waives it for deployed military. The schedule also waives it for Membership Savings or Business Membership Savings when the account has other active sub-accounts or an aggregate deposit balance of $200 or more, and for other checking, savings, or money market sub-accounts when the share deposit balance is $200 or greater. Closing a sub-account within 90 days is $25. The reading guide is US bank fee guides. The line on your own statement is the one that counts. Upload it on the upload page. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo lists the lines. It does not call the institution.
