Meridian Credit Union prints package fees on its chequing comparison chart and service fees on a separate table. Everyday is C$9 a month. Unlimited is C$19. The fee table prints a C$10 NSF fee. Columns, in order, are Student, Essential, Everyday, Digital, Unlimited, Senior Everyday, Senior Unlimited, and US Dollar. Monthly package fees are: Student, no monthly fee. Essential, C$3. Everyday, C$9. Digital, C$14. Unlimited, C$19. Senior Everyday, C$3. Senior Unlimited, C$9.50. US Dollar, no monthly fee. Student eligibility on the chart is age 18 to 25. Seniors are age 60 and over.
Footnote 1 says the minimum monthly balance must be maintained daily throughout the calendar month to waive the package fee or extra transaction fees where the chart allows it. The balance that waives the package fee is Everyday C$2,000, Digital C$3,000, Unlimited C$5,000, Senior Everyday C$2,000, and Senior Unlimited C$5,000. Student, Essential, and US Dollar are not applicable on that row. Essential does not show a balance that removes the C$3 package fee.

NSF, wires, and paper
The personal accounts fees and service charges page also does not print an effective date. It says account fees, services, and rates are subject to change without notice, and that HST is included. Non sufficient funds (NSF) is C$10. Honoured NSF is C$5 plus overdraft interest. NSF reversal is free. The page does not define honoured NSF, so this guide does not invent a definition. Coverdraft is C$5 per item. Overdraft protection is C$5 a month plus interest. The overdraft interest rate is 21% per annum. Footnote 8 says that interest is calculated daily on the daily closing overdrawn balance and charged monthly. A chargeback is C$7.
A stop payment with complete details is C$15. A stop payment with partial details is C$20. A stop payment on a US dollar account is C$20. A stop payment on a bank draft in US dollars or foreign currency is C$30. Paper statements are C$2.50, and free for Senior and New to Canada accounts. eStatements are free. An inactive account is C$30 a year. Incoming wires are C$17.50. Outgoing wires print under C$20,000 at C$30, C$20,001 to C$50,000 at C$60, a row written as C$50,001 to C$100,00 at C$100, and C$100,000 and over at C$120. A wire recall is C$30. The foreign debit transaction fee is 2.5%.
