ATB account fees
ATB Financial prints personal account prices in one services list dated 1 June 2026. Unlimited is C$15.95 a month. Basic is C$3.95 for 15 debits. A returned item on a personal account is C$10. The NSF-only page is ATB NSF fee. The wider table is Canada NSF fees by bank.

Monthly fee by account
Opened 26 October 2026. The account rows are in Personal Accounts Additional Services and Associated Charges, dated 1 June 2026. Basic is C$3.95 a month for 15 debit transactions, and C$0 for clients in AISH, the Guaranteed Income Supplement, an RDSP, or the Canada Disability Benefit. Advantage is C$24.95, waived with a C$6,000 daily balance. Unlimited is C$15.95. The PDF prints the Unlimited waiver as a minimum daily balance of C$4,000, with an extra dollar sign in front of 4,000. The Unlimited Account page prints the same C$4,000 figure once. That page also waives the fee for a full-time post-secondary student aged 26 or older with proof of enrollment. The PDF prints a New to Canada Unlimited fee of C$0 and a post-secondary student fee of C$0.
Generation, for Albertans 25 and under, is C$0. Freedom, for clients 59 or older, is C$0. No Fee All In Digital is C$0, and a non-digital in-branch transaction is C$5.00 plus other charges. Pay As You Go has no monthly fee, and the over-limit cap is C$25 before extra service fees. A US dollar chequing account is 0 or 2.95 USD a month. Returned items, wires, and paper statements
The same PDF prints a C$10.00 NSF fee on personal accounts for cheques, EFTs, ATB loan and mortgage payments, and US cheques. No more than one NSF fee is charged within two business days per account. No NSF fee is charged if the debit puts the account into an overdraft of C$10 or less. A team member stop payment is C$20.00. An online stop payment is C$12.50. Overdraft protection, which is a different product, is on ATB overdraft protection fee.
An outgoing wire in Canadian dollars, US dollars, or another currency is C$30.00 from C$1 to C$10,000, C$50.00 from C$10,001 to C$50,000, and C$80.00 from C$50,001 up. An incoming Canadian dollar or US dollar wire is C$15.00. The PDF says other fees may apply on an incoming wire.
