What a Google One charge means on your statement

Google One is the paid storage plan. The statement name is on Google's own charge table. The cancel steps depend on who sold the plan. Google's price-update page does not print US prices, so this guide does not invent one.

The name on the statement

Opened 17 October 2026. Google Pay's charge table says a Google purchase starts with GOOGLE* and ends with a product name. It maps GOOGLE* Google Storage to Google One. It maps GOOGLE *Google Storage, with a space after the asterisk, to Google Drive. Some descriptors are shortened by the bank. The longer list of GOOGLE* lines is on what a Google charge means.

If the line says apple.com/bill or a Play store name, the plan may have been sold by that store. Match the date and the amount in the Google account that owns the storage, not only the bank line.

Where the cancel control lives

Google's cancel membership page says you can cancel anytime. On Android, in the Google One app: Menu, Settings, Cancel membership, then confirm. You should get a confirmation. A plan bought in the App Store cannot be changed in the Android app. Cancel it in the App Store: your name, Subscriptions, Google One, Cancel Subscription. Also delete the plan at myaccount.google.com/deleteservices.

A Play Store plan uses that same deleteservices page: select Google One, then cancel and delete. In most countries, storage purchases are not refundable, and the storage stays for the length of the subscription you already paid. Benefits last until the end of the billing cycle. After that, each person keeps up to 15 GB.

If you go over the free storage, and family plans

Google says that over the quota, Gmail cannot send or receive, Drive cannot sync, upload, or create Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drawings, Forms, or Vids, and Photos cannot back up. Pixel Pass includes 200 GB and is canceled with Pixel Pass, not only inside Google One. A Metro by T-Mobile sponsored membership, in the US, ends as soon as you cancel. On a family plan, leave the group, ask the manager to cancel, or turn off Share Google One.
