What a Mailchimp charge means on your statement
A Mailchimp line is the email marketing plan, an add-on, or a credit purchase from Intuit's Mailchimp. QuickBooks and other Intuit charges already have a page. Credit Karma's support page did not load, so this guide does not print a Credit Karma price. The Mailchimp pricing page opened 19 October 2026 did not render a dollar for Standard or Premium. The amounts below are only the ones the help pages actually printed.

What the pricing page did show
The marketing pricing page says that under 250 contacts the plan is free, with core features. It says a free trial of Standard or Essentials lasts 14 days. The example on the page is a trial that starts on 29 August and ends on 12 September. If you cancel during the free trial, Mailchimp says you will not be charged. Mailchimp says it emails a billing estimate before the trial ends, and that the trial then bills the current monthly or annual fee for the plan you picked.
The same page says you can buy email credits instead of a monthly or annual plan if you send infrequently. It says a nonprofit or charity can request a 15 percent discount by contacting billing with the username and the organization's website. It accepts major credit cards, PayPal, and, in select countries, direct debit. It does not print the Standard or Premium monthly dollar in the text that loaded. This guide does not fill that blank. The price on your statement is the price to match to the receipt.
A QuickBooks, TurboTax, or other Intuit line is a different product. Match it with billing history or Find a Charge, on what an IN * or Intuit charge means. Mailchimp's help pages opened here do not print a required card descriptor. Match Mailchimp, the date, and the amount. If the letters are only Intuit, start with the Intuit page before you treat it as Mailchimp.
How to pause billing
Mailchimp's pause article says you can pause a Marketing plan for 3 months or 6 months. You are limited to 2 pauses every 12 months. Pausing keeps the data. You can still create and edit emails, view reports, and manage the audience. A Websites plan stays active. Billing for the Marketing plan stops during the pause, then starts again when the pause ends unless you restart sooner.
The steps on that article are: click your profile icon and choose Account & billing, or Account, depending on your user type. Click the Settings drop-down and choose Manage my plan. In Temporarily pause my Marketing plan, click Pause my plan. Choose 3 months or 6 months. Click Pause Marketing plan. Afterward, check the billing estimate on the Monthly plans or credits page for other plans or add-ons.
To restart, Mailchimp says to click restart your plan in the alert banner. In most cases you are charged and the previous plan resumes. Turn automated emails back on if you want them to send. If the contact count grew while the account was paused, you may be asked for a new tier. Pausing is not the same as deleting.
How to stop the account
Deleting the account is permanent. Mailchimp says it removes audience data, campaign archives, and reports, and that you must pay any outstanding balance first. Back up what you need before you continue. The steps are profile, Account & billing or Account, Settings, Manage my plan, Delete my account. You may see suggestions or a support option. Then Continue to delete, confirm the password, type DELETE, and click Permanently delete.
Downgrading, archiving contacts, or switching to pay as you go are the cost cuts the article lists before you delete. A downgrade during a trial, on the pricing FAQ, takes effect at the end of the billing period. Mailchimp says you will not receive a refund for charges already billed, and you keep the features until the period ends. The general idea of canceling the renewal is on how to cancel a subscription. The buttons that stop Mailchimp are the ones above.
Write the date, the description, and the amount from the card statement before you open the billing page. Upload the statement on Expenvo. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo lists the lines. It does not sign in to the bank or the company, and it does not cancel a plan. How to read a statement PDF shows whether the line repeats.
