What a Zoom charge means on your statement

A Zoom line you did not expect is often a renewal. Cancel it in the Zoom web portal if Zoom bills you directly. If Apple or Google bills you, Zoom's cancel button will not be there. Zoom does not print the card letters or a plan price on these pages.

Cancel a plan Zoom bills directly

Opened 17 October 2026. Zoom's cancel article says you can usually cancel a subscription or add-on in the web portal before the next renewal, if you bought it from Zoom. Canceling stops future renewals. It does not end the current term. Paid service stays until the end of the current plan, and you are not charged for the next renewal unless you turn it back on.

You need to be the account owner, an admin, or someone with a custom role that includes billing, and you need to sign in to the account that owns the subscription. A Basic (free) account has no paid subscription. Zoom says you can delete that account instead. In the portal: profile picture or initials at the top right, Plans and billing. You will see either Current Plans or Plan Management, with renewal dates. Click Cancel Plan and confirm. You get an email, and the status shows a pending cancellation until the term ends. If Cancel Plan is missing or gray, self-service cancel is not available. Contact the account executive, or use Zoom Virtual Agent and type cancel.

Add-ons, recordings, and a charge you did not expect

If the account has add-ons, cancel those before the base plan. Each subscription's add-ons are canceled separately. When the paid plan ends, cloud recordings stay for 30 days, then Zoom says they are permanently deleted. Download recordings you want before the cancel date. If you already canceled, Zoom says you can subscribe again to a plan with cloud recordings inside those 30 days. To undo a cancel before the term ends, use Reactivate or Reactivate Plan, then Proceed & Reactivate.

Zoom's renewal article says an unexpected subscription or add-on charge may be an automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew at the end of the billing cycle unless canceled before the renewal date. That article says renewal charges are processed under Zoom's terms and are non-refundable. Reasons it lists include a renewal, a plan you no longer need, the wrong plan, duplicate subscriptions on more than one account, or canceling too late. Check Plans and billing, then invoice history, before you cancel.

When the cancel button is not yours

If you bought Zoom through Google Play or the Apple App Store, Cancel Plan will not appear. Cancel with Google or Apple. A subscription managed by another organization may not be yours to cancel. If an unpaid invoice is blocking cancel, the renewal article says to pay it from Invoice History or Payment History, then return and cancel. Monthly plans stay through the current period. Annual plans stay through the current term. After that, the account becomes a Basic account.

These articles do not print a card descriptor or a dollar price. Match the date and the amount to the Zoom invoice. Every charge guide is listed on what is this charge on my statement. Upload the statement on Expenvo. The PDF stays on your device. Steps for stopping the next charge are on how to cancel a subscription you found on a statement.

Questions

Who can cancel a Zoom plan?
The account owner, an admin, or a user with a billing role, signed in to the account that owns the subscription, if Zoom bills that plan directly.
Does canceling Zoom stop the service today?
No. Zoom says the plan stays through the current term, then it does not renew. Add-ons have to be canceled before the base plan.
Does Zoom print the statement letters?
Not on the cancel or renewal articles opened here. Use the invoice in Plans and billing to match the date and the amount.
