How to download a Bank of America statement PDF
Bank of America's credit card FAQ says where Statements and Documents is, and that a phone can download the statement after you select it. You download the file yourself. Expenvo does not sign in to Bank of America.
Credit card statements
These steps are from Bank of America's credit card payments and statements FAQ.
On the website, sign in to online banking, open the credit card account details, and select the Statements and Documents tab. On the mobile app, select the credit card, then Statements and Documents under Account Management. The FAQ says that after you select a statement, the phone can download, print, or email it, depending on the apps on the phone. It also says you can ask Erica to see credit card statements.
That FAQ is about the credit card. A checking or savings statement may use a different label in the same online banking session. If the screen does not match, stay inside Bank of America's own menus rather than guessing a click from this page. Save a PDF. How to read a statement PDF says a photo is the harder file, and a password protected PDF will not open in Expenvo.
Questions
- Does Expenvo sign in to the bank and download the PDF for me?
- No. You download the PDF from the bank or card site. Expenvo reads that file on your device. It does not ask for the bank password.
- Can I upload a photo of the statement instead?
- A photo is harder to read. Use the PDF the bank creates, with text you can select. If the file asks for a password, download a copy that does not. Expenvo cannot open a locked PDF.
- What if the menu names do not match this page?
- Banks move buttons. Follow the official help page linked below. This guide is a reading of that page, not a second set of rules.
