How to download a BMO statement PDF

BMO's online banking FAQ says an eStatement opens as a PDF you can save. You download it yourself. Expenvo does not sign in to BMO, and the file stays on your device.

View and save

BMO's FAQ How do I view my estatements? says eStatements can be viewed online and saved to the computer. Select the account, then Statements, then the month. BMO says that opens the PDF. A filter reaches statements from earlier years.

The same answer lists eligible accounts, including BMO bank accounts, credit cards and lines of credit, and several registered plans. A paper statement you already have at home is a different file. If you scan it, the text PDF from this menu is the clearer upload.

How to read a statement PDF covers password protected files and one statement per file.

Questions

Does Expenvo sign in to the bank and download the PDF for me?
No. You download the PDF from the bank or card site. Expenvo reads that file on your device. It does not ask for the bank password.
Can I upload a photo of the statement instead?
A photo is harder to read. Use the PDF the bank creates, with text you can select. If the file asks for a password, download a copy that does not. Expenvo cannot open a locked PDF.
What if the menu names do not match this page?
Banks move buttons. Follow the official help page linked below. This guide is a reading of that page, not a second set of rules.
