How to download a Regions statement PDF

Regions says you pick Online Statements from the Accounts menu, then view or download the PDF. The mobile app has its own labels. Expenvo does not sign in to Regions, and the file stays on your device.

Online Banking and the app

These steps are from Regions' help article on opening an online statement.

In Online Banking, select Online Statements from the Accounts menu. On the Online Statements and Documents page, find the statement, then view or download the PDF. Regions also says you can use the I want to menu for the same job.

In the Regions Mobile app, that article says: once enrolled, open your account and select View statements and documents. Filter by document type and year. The statements and documents can be viewed or downloaded as a PDF on the phone.

How long they stay, and the file to upload

Regions' online statements page says you can view, download, and print up to seven years of account history after you enroll. The same page describes the mobile path with slightly different words: open the Statements tab in the account details, select the year, then view or download the PDF. If the words on your screen match one page and not the other, follow the page that matches.

Save the PDF. A US dollar statement stays in USD. After you upload it, Expenvo lists the charges, the bank fees, and the subscriptions on your device. How to read a statement PDF covers one statement per file.

Questions

Does Expenvo sign in to the bank and download the PDF for me?
No. You download the PDF from the bank or card site. Expenvo reads that file on your device. It does not ask for the bank password.
Can I upload a photo of the statement instead?
A photo is harder to read. Use the PDF the bank creates, with text you can select. If the file asks for a password, download a copy that does not. Expenvo cannot open a locked PDF.
What if the menu names do not match this page?
Banks move buttons. Follow the official help page linked below. This guide is a reading of that page, not a second set of rules.
