Where the PDF is
TD Bank's US Online Banking page, opened 17 October 2026, says you can access account statements 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in Online Banking and in the mobile app, and that you can go paperless in the app. Online Banking customers automatically receive paper statements and notices as well as online statements and notices. To turn paper off, update Statement Settings in Online Banking or the mobile app.
When a statement or notice is ready, TD sends an email. You log in to review, print, or download it. TD says online statements are available immediately, organized by account and date. Free online access goes back up to 7 years, for online statements issued on or after April 2010 and online notices issued on or after March 2015. Paper statements typically arrive in the mail within 2 to 4 business days.
The mobile app can view statements along with balances, pending transactions, and history. TD's learning page on what a bank statement is also says online or mobile access typically offers a PDF download. Use that PDF. A screenshot is easier to mix up with another month.
This bank is TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, with the pages on td.com/us. The Canadian bank is a different company and a different website. The Canadian download steps are on how to download a TD Canada statement. Do not follow the Canadian menus for a US account.
Paper, phone, and alternate formats
You can call 1-888-751-9000 or visit a TD Bank branch to go paperless. That number is the one TD prints for statement settings help. TD also offers Braille, large print, e-text, accessible PDFs, audio CDs, and enlarged check images. To ask for those, call 1-866-251-3552.
Going paperless does not delete statements already online. TD says online statements stay available for the retention above. If you need a month older than the online file, ask the branch what they can print. TD's learning page says a branch can provide a printed copy and that availability and fees can vary, so ask before you rely on a fee of zero. The online banking page does not print a dollar charge for the download itself.
A statement is one period. Download that period's PDF, and check the last digits of the account before you upload it. A US account stays in US dollars. If you also have a Canadian TD account, keep those files apart.
After the file is on your computer
Open the PDF and confirm you can select the text. If the file asks for a password, download a copy that does not. Expenvo does not sign in to TD, and it cannot open a locked PDF. How to read a statement PDF covers period dates and the difference between a fee, a purchase, and a payment.
Lines you may want to match after the upload include a monthly fee, an overdraft, or a returned item. US fee pages start at US bank fees. A returned item is on returned check fees. None of those pages sign in to the bank either.
If Save to my account is off, the charges stay in the browser tab. If you sign in and leave it on, the charges can be stored in your account in Canada. The PDF itself is not stored.
Upload the statement on Expenvo. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo lists the lines so you can match a short name to a date and an amount. It does not call the bank, and it does not dispute a charge.
