How to download a U.S. Bank statement PDF
U.S. Bank publishes two menus for the same documents. Both end at the statement so you can view, print, or download it. Expenvo does not sign in to U.S. Bank, and the file stays on your device.

Online banking and the app
U.S. Bank's download article says: in online banking, select Accounts from the menu at the top. In the U.S. Bank Mobile App, choose Statements & docs from the main menu. Then select the document type, choose the account, pick another document year if you need an older file, and select the link to view, print, or download.
The paperless documents page uses different names for the same job. Online: go to My accounts, select My documents, then Statements. Select an account type, scroll to the account, and select a statement date. In the app: log in, select the account, tap Account options, select View statements docs, and choose a statement date. If the words on your screen match one of these pages and not the other, follow the page that matches.
How long they stay, and what to upload
The download article says you can view up to seven years of e-statements, and that the latest e-statement is available after the billing cycle closes. A certificate of deposit does not have regular statements. It generates maturity notices and an end of year interest statement. The paperless page says there is no charge to receive statements online. For most accounts other than mortgage and U.S. Bancorp Investments, a copy that is mailed after you already get electronic statements has a fee.
U.S. Bank's older Access Online system requirements say the documents are PDF files. Save that PDF. A US dollar statement stays in USD. After you upload it, Expenvo lists the charges, the bank fees, and the subscriptions on your device. Ordering a mailed copy is a different task, and that page says there may be a fee. How to read a statement PDF covers one file per period.
Questions
- Does Expenvo sign in to the bank and download the PDF for me?
- No. You download the PDF from the bank or card site. Expenvo reads that file on your device. It does not ask for the bank password.
- Can I upload a photo of the statement instead?
- A photo is harder to read. Use the PDF the bank creates, with text you can select. If the file asks for a password, download a copy that does not. Expenvo cannot open a locked PDF.
- What if the menu names do not match this page?
- Banks move buttons. Follow the official help page linked below. This guide is a reading of that page, not a second set of rules.
