How to find subscriptions on an RBC statement
By Karla CastroUpdated October 30, 2026
Download a few months of RBC statement PDFs, then look for the same merchant name at a similar amount about a month apart. Check chequing and the RBC credit card, because a subscription can bill either one. The generic version of this search is how to find subscriptions from a statement. Canadian fee guides are on Canada bank fee guides.
Download the RBC statement PDFs
Checked 29 October 2026. RBC's Access Your Account Statement tutorial says to start from Accounts Summary and select Statements/Documents at the top right. On the Account Documents page, follow the instructions to download and view the document. A dropdown picks a different statement period.
In the mobile app, the same tutorial says to tap More, then Statements under Services, then the account. If a statement is missing, RBC says to call 1-800-769-2511. The full walkthrough is how to download an RBC statement. An ATM mini statement is a short printout. Use the monthly PDF.
Look for repeats
Use more than one month. A yearly plan shows once a year, and one month can make a single purchase look recurring. Look for the same printed name, a similar amount, and a gap of about a month. Write the name exactly as printed. It is often shorter than the brand.
App store bills such as APPLE.COM/BILL or GOOGLE* can hide several services under one name. The store's own list names them. Keep the chequing list and the card list together. A list from one account is not the full list. The monthly account fee is a bank fee, not a subscription, on how to waive an RBC monthly fee. More RBC pages are on RBC.
Or let Expenvo list them
Open the RBC PDF in Expenvo. RBC is one of the named Canadian banks. The PDF stays on your device. There is no bank login. Subscriptions are listed, and bank fees are listed on their own. Expenvo does not tell you to cancel anything.
One statement a day can be read with no account. That view lists every bank fee and every subscription. A free account keeps one statement a month and the 3 largest fees and the 3 largest subscriptions. Pro is $5.99 USD/mo. Yearly pricing, and the price for your country, are on Pricing. Find every fee and subscription on your statement. Upload a PDF on the upload page. No bank login. The PDF stays on your device.
