GreenState overdraft fee
GreenState Credit Union's overdraft page prints an Overdraft Privilege fee of $29.00 an item, with a maximum of five fees a day on a consumer account and ten a day on a business account. What the overdraft page prints
Opened 22 October 2026. The dollars are on GreenState's Overdraft Privilege page. Overdraft Privilege is $29.00 an item. A consumer account is limited to five of those fees a day. A business account is limited to ten. An overdraft protection transfer is $5.00. The page says that fee may include sales tax, and the minimum transfer is $100. Checks, other transactions that use the checking account number, and automatic bill payments are the standard items GreenState says it may pay. ATM transactions and everyday debit card transactions are paid only if you ask. GreenState says it pays overdrafts at its discretion and does not guarantee it will pay them.
If the account stays overdrawn for 32 calendar days in a row, Overdraft Privilege is reduced. The full limit comes back after the balance is positive for at least one business day. The page says the account may be closed if the balance is not positive within 45 days of the day it became overdrawn. The truth in savings disclosure points members to the schedule of fees for the current dollar. The dollar quoted here is the one printed on the overdraft page itself.
Five a day is the consumer cap on that page. It is not a promise that the first fee is removed. A fee already charged is a request. GreenState can say no. The US list is US bank fee guides.
