Schwab Bank fees

Opened 21 October 2026. The Schwab Bank Deposit Account Pricing Guide (January 2026, footer E-1225-03434 REG30608-23) prints a $0 monthly service charge for Investor Checking, Investor Savings, and Interest Checking Plus. It also prints no Schwab Bank ATM fee, no overdraft fee, and no fee for a check the bank cannot pay because there is not enough money. Bill Pay has no fee. Standard checks sent by US mail have no fee. Check and statement copies by mail or fax have no fee. A debit card, original or replacement, sent by regular mail has no fee. A deposited item that is returned has no fee. An electronic transfer to another US institution has no fee. A stop payment has no fee. An online transfer to a linked Schwab One brokerage account is free. Debit card purchases have no foreign exchange transaction fee.
ATM fee rebates are unlimited for cash withdrawals on the debit card, worldwide. The rebates do not include a merchant fee at the register, a stamp purchase, or a balance inquiry. The checking page at schwab.com says the same thing in shorter words: no monthly service fees and no overdraft fees.

An incoming domestic wire is $0. An outgoing domestic wire is $25 per transfer, or $15 if you submit it online. With $100,000 or more in Household Balances, the guide prints three free online wire transfers per quarter. Schwab Bank does not accept a wire in a foreign currency, or a wire from a bank outside the United States and its territories. Rush delivery is $15.
Do not copy a wire dollar from the Charles Schwab brokerage pricing guide onto a Schwab Bank statement. They are different accounts. If the fee is on the bank statement, use this page. If it is on the brokerage statement, read that guide instead.
