U.S. Bank cashier's check is $10
By Karla CastroUpdated November 2, 2026
U.S. Bank's consumer pricing information, effective August 10, 2026, prints a cashier's check at $10.00 and a personal money order at $5.00. The Smart Rewards fee waiver benefit prints both fees as waived for the Gold tier and the Platinum tiers.
The two lines
Opened 2 November 2026. In the miscellaneous fees list, Cashier's Check is $10.00 and Personal Money Orders are $5.00. On the Smart Rewards tiers page, the fee waiver benefit prints cashier's check fees waived and personal money order fees waived in the Gold tier and the Platinum tier columns. The $10.00 and $5.00 lines are the fees when that waiver does not apply.
Each fee can post on its own. The pricing document does not print the exact statement name. A Gold or Platinum waiver is not a waiver for every U.S. Bank account.
Tiers that print a waiver
Match the Smart Rewards tier before you use the waiver. The fee waiver benefit that includes the cashier's check and the personal money order is printed with the Gold tier and the Platinum tiers. If the account is not in one of those columns, use $10.00 and $5.00. The document does not print a cheaper online price.
Upload the statement on Expenvo. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo lists the lines. It does not sign in to the bank, and it does not buy the check.
