TD bank draft is C$9.95
By Karla CastroUpdated November 2, 2026
TD Canada Trust's bank account fees page prints no fee for a bank draft on the TD All-Inclusive Banking Plan, and C$9.95 on the other chequing accounts in that table. The page does not print a money order dollar.
The draft row
Opened 2 November 2026. The bank draft row prints no fee in the All-Inclusive column and C$9.95 in the other columns. The page says a bank draft is a payment prepared by TD, with the funds withdrawn from your account. It says the All-Inclusive Banking Plan, which waives this fee, may be better suited if you want to avoid the charge. The fee is for issuing the draft. It can show as its own line, separate from the amount on the draft.
The same fees page does not print a money order price. This guide does not invent one. A missing money order row is not a statement that a money order is free.
The account that waives it
The All-Inclusive Banking Plan is the column that prints no fee. The Unlimited, Every Day, Minimum, and Student columns print C$9.95. If the draft is in a different currency from the account, you still buy that currency at TD's rate. That exchange is not the C$9.95 fee.
Upload the statement on Expenvo. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo lists the lines. It does not sign in to the bank, and it does not buy the check.
