By Karla CastroUpdated November 2, 2026
BMO's agreements and fees for everyday banking, effective June 2, 2026, print money orders and drafts in available currencies at C$9.95 each. The Premium Plan includes them. A U.S. dollar money order or draft bought from a U.S. dollar personal account has no cost.
One price on four plans
Opened 2 November 2026. On the bank plan table, Premium Plan shows money orders and drafts as included. Performance Plan, Blue Rewards Plan, Plus Plan, and Practical Plan print C$9.95 each. A note says U.S. dollar money orders and drafts are available at no cost when purchased through a U.S. dollar personal account. The receiving institution may still charge its own fee. A foreign currency draft can be refused if the payee does not clear sanctions screening.
The C$9.95 can post as its own line. The agreement does not print the statement wording. A draft and a money order share this row. They are not a wire.
The plan that includes them
Premium Plan is the column with the included mark. The other four everyday plans print C$9.95 each. Buying from a U.S. dollar personal account is the path the note prints at no cost, and that no cost is for a U.S. dollar money order or draft, not for every currency.
Upload the statement on Expenvo. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo lists the lines. It does not sign in to the bank, and it does not buy the check.
