BMO outgoing wire is C$40 plus C$10

BMO's agreements and fees for everyday banking, effective June 2, 2026, print an outgoing wire of C$40 plus a communication charge of C$10. An incoming wire is C$16. The page does not print a separate domestic price and international price.
One outgoing price
Opened 1 November 2026. Under wire payments, incoming is C$16.00, and the note says third party bank charges are the responsibility of the sender. Outgoing is C$40.00 plus a communication charge of C$10.00. Footnote 9 says other financial institutions may have fees on incoming and outgoing wires, and that an investigation can have its own fee. Ask in a branch for that investigation dollar. This agreement does not print it.
The C$40 and the C$10 can show as wire lines on the statement, separate from the amount you sent. A fee another bank takes is not one of those two BMO lines.
Cheaper sends BMO prints
The same agreement prints C$1.00 to send an Interac e-Transfer, and C$5.00 for a BMO Global Money Transfer. Those are different services from the C$40 wire. Use the everyday banking agreement for the wire.
Upload the statement on Expenvo. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo lists the lines. It does not sign in to the bank, and it does not move the money.
