BMO paper statement is C$2.75

BMO's everyday banking agreements, effective June 2, 2026, print a paper statement at C$2.75 each. An eStatement is no charge. Closing within 14 business days is C$0.00, and closing after 14 business days is C$20.00.
Paper statement
Opened 2 November 2026. The fee table prints one paper statement at C$2.75 per statement issued. A footnote says one paper statement is included at no charge with the Practical Plan, the Kids discounted banking program, and the discontinued Senior Plan. Each extra statement is C$2.75. The discount tables also include one monthly paper statement at no charge for kids, teens, students, seniors, Indigenous clients, RDSP beneficiaries, and newcomers who qualify.
An eStatement is no charge. An interim statement picked up, mailed, or faxed is C$5.00. A search or copy of a statement or cheque is C$5.00. Those are not the C$2.75 paper line.
Closing the account
Under the heading account closed within 90 calendar days of opening, the table prints C$0.00 when the account is closed within 14 business days, and C$20.00 when it is closed after 14 business days. The heading and the rows both appear on the page. A dormant account notice is a different charge.
