What a Ring, Google Home, ADT, or SimpliSafe charge means
A home security line is the monitoring or the camera plan, not a bank fee. It often repeats every month or every year. Ring and Google print plan prices on the pages opened 17 October 2026. Nest Aware is now Google Home Premium. ADT's public plans page did not load, so this guide does not print an ADT price. SimpliSafe's terms print a cancellation rule and no monthly plan price.

Ring plans
Ring's plans page, opened 17 October 2026, lists Ring Solo at $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year, plus applicable tax, for one device. Ring Multi is $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year, plus applicable tax, for all devices at one location. The Ring Pro price line is $19.99 a month or $199.99 a year, plus applicable tax. The page also calls that plan Ring AI Pro. Virtual Security Guard is $99.00 a month, plus applicable tax. Plans auto-renew until canceled. One device or one location is covered per plan. A free 30 day trial of Ring Protect starts immediately when you set up your device, unless you already have a plan at that location. The trial name on the FAQ still says Ring Protect. The paid names on the price list are Solo, Multi, and Pro.
Professional installation starts at $129.99 per device and is billed separately. That is not the monthly plan. A $129.99 line on the day you booked a visit is the install, not Solo. Mobile security installation on the same page starts at $499 per device, also billed separately. The plans page does not print a required card code. The name usually includes Ring. If you subscribed in an app store, the line can be the store. Those lines are on APPLE.COM/BILL and GOOGLE*.
Google Home Premium, formerly Nest Aware
Google's store page, opened 17 October 2026, says Nest Aware is now Google Home Premium. Nest Aware subscribers are on Standard. Nest Aware Plus subscribers are on Advanced. Google says there is no change to billing and no need to sign up again. Standard is $10 a month or $100 a year, and the page says you save $20 with the annual plan. Advanced is $20 a month or $200 a year, and the page says you save $40 with the annual plan. The page also says plans start at $10 a month. Standard includes 30 days of event video history. Advanced includes 60 days of event history and 10 days of 24/7 history for cameras and wired doorbells.
A Nest Aware line on an older statement can be the same subscription that is now Google Home Premium. Match the amount to Standard or Advanced before you call it a new company. Google storage that is not the camera plan is Google One. The plans page does not print a GOOGLE asterisk descriptor unique to cameras. Cancel in the place you subscribed. Google's help says the path depends on whether you pay through the Google Store or Nest, or through Google Play. Canceling drops the saved video features the help article describes. ADT and SimpliSafe
ADT's monitoring plans page did not load on 17 October 2026, so this guide does not print an ADT monthly price or a contract length. The statement name usually includes ADT. Match it to the monitoring bill or the quote in your account. Do not fill the gap with a price from a different security company.
SimpliSafe's terms, opened 17 October 2026, describe a monthly auto-renewing subscription. They do not print a monitoring price on the sections read for this guide. Do not treat a liability limit in the terms as a plan price. There are no termination fees. SimpliSafe refunds unearned service charges for any full calendar month after termination, and does not refund a partial calendar month. A subscription terminated before the billing date does not create a charge for the coming month. You can terminate by mail to the current principal office, by calling SimpliSafe Customer Support at 1-800-548-9508 and following the instructions, or by another cancellation method SimpliSafe deploys, including an app Initiate Cancellation process that can create a request and a call back. The sales number printed on the site, 1-833-319-5750, 8am to 10pm Eastern Time, is the sales line on the page chrome. The terms name 1-800-548-9508 for cancellation. The terms do not print a required card code. The name usually includes SimpliSafe.
Upload the statement on Expenvo. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo groups the same merchant when a similar amount shows up again about a week, a month, or a year apart, and it lists a line that already says membership or subscription. You can also mark a name yourself. It does not cancel the plan, and it does not count the charge as savings. One month can miss a yearly renewal.
