What a Twitch charge means on your statement
A Twitch line is often a channel subscription, Bits, or a gift sub. Twitch's purchase FAQ says many of those charges show up as JTI*TWITCHTV SUB SRVCS. The charge is billed in advance, and a 3 month or 6 month plan is paid up front.

The words Twitch prints
Twitch's Purchase Support FAQ, opened 17 October 2026, answers the question of what JTI*TWITCHTV SUB SRVCS is. Twitch says that is how Twitch charges may appear on your bank statement. If the charge is unrecognized, Twitch asks you to use the contact form, choose Purchases, then Unrecognized or Unauthorized Charges, and include any invoice or transaction ID, the date, and the amounts.
Many channel subscriptions are recurring monthly charges billed in advance for the following month. The checkout page shows the price and the renewal frequency. For some subscriptions you can pay in 3 or 6 month installments. Twitch's multi month page says you are billed for all months purchased up front. A renewal notice might not show the multi month discount. Twitch says to check the billing statement once you are charged. Standard multi month discounts on that page are 10 percent for 3 months and 15 percent for 6 months. A special promotion applies only to the first 3 or 6 months. The next renewal is at the standard price with the regular multi month discount.
The full list of these short names is on statement codes. Other Amazon related lines are on AMZN Mktp and Amazon Prime. Those are not this Twitch descriptor.
Unexpected is not always unauthorized
Twitch's fraud page says an unexpected charge is not always unauthorized. If you upgraded a Prime or gift subscription to a paid recurring subscription, Twitch says that action does not charge you until the free benefit expires. An active multi month subscription renews every 3 or 6 months, so a charge on a quiet month can still be yours. Twitch says to check the subscriptions page and the payment history. Those pages list Bits, gift subs, and subscriptions made with saved payment methods.
After a successful purchase, the receipt or transaction ID is emailed. For most web purchases, that is the email on the Twitch account. For an in app purchase, check the app store email. Twitch says billing details are private. The streamer sees your username, unless you bought a gift sub anonymously. Searching email for the streamer's name often finds the invoice.
Twitch accepts payments from services including PayPal, Xsolla, Amazon Pay, and others. You may get a transaction ID from that service that is separate from the Twitch invoice. If the bank line is PayPal or Amazon and the email is Twitch, match the amount across both. Invoice details are taken from the card at the time of purchase. Twitch says an invoice with an old name cannot be resent or altered.
How to stop the next one
Cancel the recurring payment in Twitch before the next date. If you already canceled and you are still charged, Twitch says to contact them with the invoice or transaction ID, your username, and the subscription. Use the contact form and select Subscriptions. How to cancel a subscription is the general checklist. The control that stops Twitch is in your Twitch subscriptions, or in the app store if you subscribed there.
The multi month page says the Sub Expires date on the channel is when the previous term ends, and the Recurring Sub continues date on the subscriptions page is when the new charge happens. Those dates should match. Twitch says there is no place in the product to track the future amount, the 3 or 6 month length, or the card, so the checkout screen is the note to keep.
If the charge is fraud, Twitch says to contact support right away and that it complies with legally issued subpoenas. Your card issuer is still the place that can dispute the posted line. US steps are on dispute a charge in the US. Canadian steps are on dispute a charge in Canada.
Upload the statement on Expenvo. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo lists the lines so you can match a short name to a date and an amount. It does not call the bank, and it does not dispute a charge.
