Citi official check is $10
By Karla CastroUpdated November 2, 2026
Citi's consumer deposit account agreement, effective November 14, 2024, prints an official check at $10.00 and a money order at $5.00 on the standard column. Citi Priority, Citigold, and Citigold Private Client print both fees as waived.
The fee chart
Opened 2 November 2026. The fee chart lists Money Order for Customers at $5.00 on the standard column, and Official Check at $10.00 on the standard column. The next three columns, Citi Priority, Citigold, and Citigold Private Client, print both as waived. Citi uses official check for the bank check. The fee can post as its own line. The chart does not print the statement name.
A stop payment on an official check or a money order is a different row, at $30.00 on the standard column. That stop is not the $10 you pay to buy the check. The stop payment page is the place for that $30.
Tiers that print waived
If the account is in Citi Priority, Citigold, or Citigold Private Client, the chart prints the official check and the money order as waived. A standard account prints $10.00 and $5.00. A waived fee on a relationship tier is not a promise that every Citi account is free.
Upload the statement on Expenvo. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo lists the lines. It does not sign in to the bank, and it does not buy the check.
