How to download a Citizens statement PDF

Citizens puts statements in the Document Center. The FAQ says you filter by account and timeframe, then save or download the file. Expenvo does not sign in to Citizens, and the PDF stays on your device.

Document Center

These steps are from Citizens' mobile and online banking FAQ.

Log in to Online Banking and click the Document Center tab. Citizens says many deposit, line of credit, and loan statements are there. Use the Filter to select the account and the timeframe. Statements can be saved or downloaded. Up to 18 months are available online and can be retrieved immediately. For a statement older than 18 months, Citizens says to click Contact Us. This guide does not invent the form that follows that link.

Citizens' online banking page lists Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing PDF files. Save that PDF. A transaction export from an account is a different button, and it is not the statement.

How long they stay

The FAQ's 18 month line is the copy window. Citizens' digital terms say you may view up to 7 years of eligible account statements, and that a deposit, consumer loan, or consumer line account on My Accounts is eligible. The same section says credit card, mortgage, business loan, combined, and relationship statements may not be available there. If the two pages disagree for your account, follow the screen you are on.

Those pages do not print a separate path of taps in the Citizens mobile app for saving a statement, so this guide does not invent one. A US dollar statement stays in USD. After you upload the PDF, Expenvo lists the charges, the bank fees, and the subscriptions on your device.

Questions

Does Expenvo sign in to the bank and download the PDF for me?
No. You download the PDF from the bank or card site. Expenvo reads that file on your device. It does not ask for the bank password.
Can I upload a photo of the statement instead?
A photo is harder to read. Use the PDF the bank creates, with text you can select. If the file asks for a password, download a copy that does not. Expenvo cannot open a locked PDF.
What if the menu names do not match this page?
Banks move buttons. Follow the official help page linked below. This guide is a reading of that page, not a second set of rules.
