How to download a First Citizens statement

First Citizens' digital banking FAQ, opened 19 October 2026, says the mobile app can open account statements and tax documents. It also says a statement that will not appear is often a pop-up the browser blocked. This page uses that FAQ. It does not invent a menu name the FAQ did not print, and it does not copy a business reporting path onto a personal account.

Where the statement is

The FAQ lists mobile banking features after you enroll. One of them is accessing account statements and tax documents. Others on the same list are balances and transaction history, mobile check deposit, bill pay, transfers, Zelle, card controls, and alerts. The FAQ does not print a numbered path such as a button named Statements. Sign in, then use the statements or documents area the app shows. If the label differs from what you remember, use the words on the screen.

Paperless statements are available for First Citizens checking, savings, credit card, and home equity line accounts. That is the eligibility sentence on the FAQ. A product that is not on that list may still have a statement. Ask the bank before you assume paperless is offered.

If a statement will not open, the FAQ says the pop-up that holds the statement is likely blocked. Allow pop-ups for Digital Banking, or add Digital Banking as an allowed site. If it still will not open, install Adobe Acrobat Reader. That is the reader the FAQ names. A different PDF app can work on your computer, but the bank's own instruction is Acrobat Reader.

History on the screen is not the statement

Manage My Money is a separate tool. The FAQ says that when you enroll, it generally displays up to 90 days of transaction history and then builds from the day you enroll. Many mortgage loans show a balance and do not show transaction history. That 90 day view is spending history. It is not the monthly statement PDF.

You can open Manage My Money from the digital banking homepage. Categories, budgets, and a spending wheel are tools inside it. Changing a category does not change the statement the bank produced. Download the statement itself when you need the official month.

The FAQ says balances and transactions for First Citizens accounts are generally shown in real time. Balances and history for accounts at other banks are generally a day behind. A linked outside account is not a First Citizens statement. Download each bank's own PDF.

If you cannot sign in

The FAQ says too many wrong passwords deny digital banking access. The Customer Care Center number on that answer is 888-323-4732, which the page also writes as 888-FC DIRECT. Hours on that answer are 8 am to 9 pm Eastern Time Monday through Friday, and 8 am to 8 pm Eastern Time Saturday and Sunday. Use that number if you are locked out. Use the number on the statement if the statement prints a different one.

If you can sign in, login preferences are under Profile and Preferences, then Log In Preferences. If you cannot sign in, the FAQ says to use Forgot ID/Password and to have the account number, Social Security number or tax ID, and the email address on file. Resetting a password does not email you the statement. It only gets you back to the screen where the statement lives.

Save the PDF while it is open. A later copy can be a different request. Upload the statement on Expenvo. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo lists the lines. It does not sign in to the bank or the company, and it does not cancel a plan. How to read a statement PDF covers one month per file. The monthly fee on a First Citizens checking account is a different page, how to avoid the First Citizens monthly fee.
