How to download a Triangle Mastercard statement

Canadian Tire Bank keeps Triangle Mastercard statements online for up to 7 years after you enroll in e-statements. The PDF matches the paper statement. You save it yourself. Expenvo does not sign in to Canadian Tire Bank, and the PDF stays on your device.

Enroll, then download

Canadian Tire Bank's e-statement page says you can save, print, or download statements in the Triangle app or the online account. Switching from paper is free. You can switch back to paper, and the page says there is never a cost to switch either way. You receive one or the other, not both. Statements stay monthly. You still pay at least the minimum by the due date on the statement.

If you already have an online account, sign in on a desktop or tablet. On the summary page, under Statement Details, select eStatements. Review the terms and select Get eStatements. The page says the request usually takes 1 business day. The signup FAQ prints a close variant: on the summary page select the eStatements button, review the terms, and select Get eStatements. If the button name on your screen matches one of those lines, follow that line.

In the Triangle app, sign in with the same login. Select Mastercard, then View eStatement. The signup FAQ says: select Accounts, then View eStatement, confirm your email, and select Enrol Now. If you do not have an online account yet, enroll with the 16 digit card number and the 3 digit security code on the back of the card, and on step 3 select Enrol in free eStatements. Expenvo never asks for that card number. You type it only on Canadian Tire Bank's own page.

What the PDF contains, and how long it stays

When the statement is ready, Canadian Tire Bank emails the address on file. The email includes the statement balance, the minimum payment, and the due date, plus a link to the app or the online account where you download the PDF. The bank says the email is a notice. You still sign in to get the file. The PDF has the same transactions as the paper statement. Previous statements stay available for up to 7 years.

Save the PDF with a name you will recognize later, including the month. A photo of the app is not the statement. A Canadian dollar Triangle Mastercard statement stays in Canadian dollars. After you upload it, Expenvo lists the charges and the fees on your device. How to read a statement PDF covers one period per file. The email notice is not a substitute for the PDF. It names the balance and the due date, and the transactions are in the file you download after you sign in.

This card is issued by Canadian Tire Bank. It is not an MBNA card and not a PC Financial card, even if a store purchase shows up on more than one statement. MBNA's download steps are on how to download an MBNA statement. The pages opened here do not print a fee for a statement older than 7 years. If you need a year that is not in the account, ask Canadian Tire Bank what a copy costs before you order one. That kind of fee is explained on statement copy and research fees.
