Expenvo vs Mint

Mint's homepage no longer starts as a budgeting app you sign in to. On 16 October 2026 it says Mint has been reimagined on Credit Karma. Expenvo is a different product. It reads a bank or card statement PDF in the browser and does not ask you to sign in to the bank.

What Mint's page says now

The Mint homepage says Mint has been reimagined on Credit Karma. It says reviewing transactions, monitoring your spending, and tracking your net worth now have a new home. It says popular Mint features have made the leap to Credit Karma.

The same page says to link your accounts from more than 17,000 financial institutions and view the connected transactions in one place. It also says you can review transactions, track spending by category, and get monthly insights. This guide does not add a shutdown date. The homepage opened on 16 October 2026 does not print one.

What Expenvo does instead

Expenvo Free is $0 USD. It includes one bank statement upload in a calendar month. Pro is $5.99 USD/month or $47 USD a year. Prices are before tax. Pricing is the plan list.

You download a statement PDF from the bank, then open it in the browser. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo does not ask for a bank login and it does not link the account. How to read a statement PDF is the page for that file. If you later save charges, those rows can be stored in your account in Canada. The PDF is still not uploaded.

Expenvo lists bank fees and subscriptions so you can see them. It does not cancel subscriptions, it does not negotiate bills, and it does not count subscriptions as savings. The savings number is bank fees on the statement only.

If you are comparing other apps

Mint's page describes linking accounts at Credit Karma. It does not print a Credit Karma price, so this page does not invent one. Expenvo vs Rocket Money and Expenvo vs YNAB are separate comparisons, each from that company's own pricing page.

A lower price is not a claim that one product does the other's job. Use the current page from that company if a sentence changes.
