Expenvo vs Rocket Money

These are different products. The prices below are the ones each company prints on its own page. Expenvo reads a bank or card statement PDF on your device. It does not ask you to sign in to the bank. Rocket Money's own article says you link accounts.

Price

Expenvo Free is $0 USD. It includes one bank statement upload in a calendar month. Pro is $5.99 USD/month or $47 USD a year. Prices are before tax. Pricing is the page with the plan list.

Rocket Money's article How much does Rocket Money cost?, dated 19 January 2026, says there is a free version. It says Premium uses a pay what you think is fair price, typically $7 to $14 a month, and that the range can change. It says Premium+ costs $15 a month.

The same article says bill negotiation is available on every tier. You pay only if a negotiation works, and the fee is 35% to 60% of the first year's savings. After that year, the article says you keep the savings. It says Premium+ does not add that negotiation fee. Expenvo does not negotiate bills.

How each one sees the transactions

The Rocket Money article says you create an account and link your bank accounts, and that Rocket Money partners with Plaid for those connections. It says banking credentials are not stored on Rocket Money's servers. Linking an account is their published way to start.

Expenvo does not ask for a bank login. You download a statement PDF from the bank, then open it in the browser. The PDF stays on your device. How to read a statement PDF is the page for that file. If you later save charges, those rows can be stored in your account in Canada. The PDF is still not uploaded.

Rocket Money's article says free users can track subscriptions, and that cancellation through their team is a Premium feature. Expenvo lists subscriptions so you can see them. It does not cancel them, and it does not count them as savings. The savings number in Expenvo is bank fees on the statement only.

What this page does not say

A lower price is not a claim that one product does the other's job. Rocket Money publishes bill negotiation, subscription cancellation, and account linking. Expenvo publishes statement reading, bank fee lines, and a subscription list. Pick the one that matches the job you want done.

Figures on either page can change. The account agreement, the pricing page, and the statement control. This comparison is not a quote from Rocket Money, and it is not financial advice.
