Scotiabank's personal bank account fees page prints incoming wire fees. A pension payment identified in the message is C$1.50 per transfer. Every other incoming wire is C$15.00 CAD or USD per transfer. The page does not print an outgoing wire amount.
What the fees page does print
Opened 1 November 2026. Under incoming wire transfer fees, a wire identified as a pension payment in the payment message is C$1.50 per transfer. All other incoming wires are C$15.00 CAD/USD per transfer. A note says all fees are charged in the currency of the account. The same transfer table prints C$1.99 per transfer, on select accounts, to send money internationally as a direct deposit in the app or online banking. That line is not labeled as an outgoing wire.
Because the page does not print an outgoing wire dollar, this guide does not invent one. Ask the branch for the outgoing price before you send, and write down the number they quote. The fee, once it posts, is usually its own line, separate from the amount that arrived or left.
Transfers that are not a wire
The C$1.99 international direct deposit is a different row from the incoming wire. Interac e-Transfer is also a different service. On this fees page, one table prints C$1.00 for each Interac e-Transfer. That is not an outgoing wire fee. A wire the page does not price is not free.
