How to ask about a Capital One Savor fee

The Savor Rewards page from Capital One prints a $0 annual fee. There is no waiver to ask for on that line, because the page does not charge one. If your statement shows an annual fee, the account may be a different Capital One card. Venture X is one of those other cards. Asking Capital One which product is on the account is the useful question.

The $0 on the Savor Rewards page

Opened 19 October 2026. The Savor Rewards page prints a $0 annual fee, and it says there are no foreign transaction fees on purchases made outside the United States. It also prints a $200 cash bonus after $500 in purchases in the first 3 months, for eligible new cardholders who apply through that page. A bonus is not an annual fee.

Early account closing fees at US banks are already on early account closing fees. This page is the card fee, not a deposit account closing fee. How to ask about a Capital One Venture X fee is a different card that does print an annual fee.

What to ask if the statement shows a fee

If the statement shows an annual fee, do not subtract it as if Savor Rewards had started charging $0 and then changed. Ask Capital One which card is on the account, and which agreement lists that fee. Then ask them to review the line. They can say no.

Use the phone number on the statement if it is printed there. Have the date, the fee name, and the amount. Ask whether the charge is the annual fee for this card, a fee for an extra card, or a different product. Then ask the issuer to review the fee or remove it. They can say no. This page has no success rate. If the answer is no, ask the last day you can close so the next annual fee is not charged. This page does not tell you to close the card. The PDF steps are on how to download a Capital One statement.

Upload the statement on Expenvo. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo lists the lines. It does not sign in to the bank or the card company, and it does not cancel a card.

Questions

Does Savor Rewards have an annual fee?
The Savor Rewards page opened on 19 October 2026 prints $0. It also prints no foreign transaction fees.
Why would a Capital One statement still show an annual fee?
The account may be a different Capital One card. Venture X is a separate card with its own fee page. Ask Capital One for the product name before you use $0.
Is the $200 bonus a fee waiver?
No. The page describes a one time cash bonus after $500 in purchases for eligible new cardholders. A bonus is not an annual fee being removed.
Will the issuer remove an annual fee it already charged if I ask?
They might, and they might not. Asking is a request. A benefit on the card page is not a promise to erase a fee already on the statement.
