Huntington says there is no monthly maintenance fee and no minimum deposit to open. Huntington ATMs are free for transactions on this account. A non Huntington ATM is $3.50 for each transaction, plus any fee the ATM owner charges. Huntington also lists $2 for each extended statement at a Huntington ATM.

Find a fee on the statement

A monthly fee of $0 for 12 months is $0. A $3.50 ATM fee is not that monthly fee. Twelve of those ATM fees would be $42, and that arithmetic is not a quote from Huntington.
What to ask Huntington
Use the phone number on the statement if it is printed there. Ask which checking account is open, and whether the line is the $3.50 non Huntington ATM fee or the $2 extended statement. Then ask Huntington to review it. They can say no.
