How to ask about an IHG One Rewards Premier fee
IHG One Rewards Premier is not the newer Premier Select card. The Premier page opened on 19 October 2026 prints a $150 annual fee. Chase's 1 October 2026 release says existing cardmembers' annual fees are adjusted in 2027. A statement that still shows an older amount can be the fee from before that change. Asking Chase to remove a fee already charged is a request.

The $150, and the 2027 note
Opened 19 October 2026. The IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card page prints an annual fee of $150. The page says there is no foreign transaction fee on purchases outside the United States. Chase's 1 October 2026 release also describes Premier at a $150 annual fee, and it says annual fees for existing IHG One Rewards cardmembers will be adjusted in 2027. Do not tell Chase a $99 line is wrong if that line is the fee from before the change. Ask which fee is on your account.
The same release describes a different card, IHG One Rewards Premier Select, at a $350 annual fee. Do not mix that $350 into Premier. Food and beverage rewards and an airline credit on the Premier page are benefits. They are not a printed waiver of the annual fee. How to ask about a Hilton Surpass fee is a different hotel card.
What to ask
Use the phone number on the statement if it is printed there. Have the date, the fee name, and the amount. Ask whether the charge is the annual fee for this card, a fee for an extra card, or a different product. Then ask the issuer to review the fee or remove it. They can say no. This page has no success rate. If the answer is no, ask the last day you can close so the next annual fee is not charged. This page does not tell you to close the card. - They might, and they might not. Asking is a request. A benefit on the card page is not a promise to erase a fee already on the statement.
