22.99% from the day you withdraw

Opened 20 October 2026. The help article says a cash advance is a withdrawal of cash from the available credit on those Visa cards. Interest is 22.99%, charged daily from the date of the transaction until the payment is made in full. There is no interest free grace period. Unlike purchases, interest starts the day you withdraw.

The same article says that if a minimum payment is not received by the due date two or more times within a 12 month period, the cash advance rate increases to 27.99%. The credit card page, opened the same day, prints 20.99% for purchases and 22.99% for cash advances or cash like transactions. It says those rates increase to 25.99% on purchases and 27.99% on cash advances if the minimum is not received for 2 consecutive months, starting in the third statement period after the second missed payment. Those are two different sentences. Use the sentence on the page that matches your question, and the cardholder agreement if they conflict.

ATM limits, and what is not printed

ATM withdrawal limits on the help article are $500 per transaction and $1,000 per month. Not every ATM supports a cash advance on the Visa Infinite + card. The ATM needs a Visa mark. The article does not print a dollar amount for a Wealthsimple cash advance fee. The phrase "higher interest rates and fees" is in the overview, without a fee dollar next to it. This page does not invent that dollar.

A foreign purchase is not this charge. The no FX fee sentence is already on Canadian cards that print no foreign transaction fee. National Bank and Desjardins cash advances are on National Bank cash advance fee and Desjardins cash advance fee. The big bank lists are on cash advance fees and interest.
