Chase stop payment is $25 online
By Karla CastroUpdated November 1, 2026
Chase's additional banking services schedule, effective June 14, 2026, prints $30 per request when a banker places a stop on a check or an ACH. The same schedule prints $25 per request when you place a stop on a check on chase.com, in the Chase app, or on the automated phone system.
What the schedule prints
Opened 1 November 2026. A banker stop covers a check or an ACH and is $30 per request. An online, app, or automated phone stop is $25 per request, and the schedule says it is a stop on a check. It also says only some types of stop payments are available that way. The schedule does not print a separate international price, because a stop payment is not a wire.
The fee can post as its own line, separate from the check or ACH you asked Chase not to pay. The schedule does not print the exact words that line will use. A stop is a request. Paying the fee does not by itself prove the item was caught.
The lower Chase price
Use chase.com, the Chase app, or the automated phone system when the stop you need is one of the check stops those channels accept. That printed price is $25, against $30 with a banker. If the channel says that type of stop is not available, the banker price is the one the schedule prints. The schedule does not name an account that waives the stop payment fee.
Upload the statement on Expenvo. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo lists the lines. It does not sign in to the bank, and it does not stop the payment.
