How to download a Coast Capital statement PDF

Coast Capital says you opt in to digital delivery first, then download the statement from Account Overview. The download is a file on your device. Expenvo does not sign in to Coast Capital.

Turn on digital delivery

These steps are from Coast Capital's eStatements and T5 slips page.

Sign in to digital banking. From the menu, select Settings, then Document Delivery. Choose the memberships, choose whether you want an email when a document is ready, then Continue, review, and Confirm. Coast Capital says the first eStatement arrives on the next statement cycle, and that you might still get one last paper statement. Digital delivery of the monthly statement is free on that page. A T5 tax slip is a different document.

Download the statement

After you are opted in, the same page says: sign in, select Account Overview, then eStatements and T5 slips, then Download next to the document you want. The file is saved on the device you are using. Pick the monthly statement, not the T5 slip.

Coast Capital says those documents stay available for seven years. The page describes this on a computer or laptop. It does not print a separate list of taps for the mobile app, so this guide does not invent one. A Canadian dollar statement stays in C$. After you upload the PDF, Expenvo lists the charges, the bank fees, and the subscriptions on your device. How to read a statement PDF covers one statement per file.

Questions

Does Expenvo sign in to the bank and download the PDF for me?
No. You download the PDF from the bank or card site. Expenvo reads that file on your device. It does not ask for the bank password.
Can I upload a photo of the statement instead?
A photo is harder to read. Use the PDF the bank creates, with text you can select. If the file asks for a password, download a copy that does not. Expenvo cannot open a locked PDF.
What if the menu names do not match this page?
Banks move buttons. Follow the official help page linked below. This guide is a reading of that page, not a second set of rules.
