How to download a motusbank statement

motusbank was a digital bank owned by Meridian. In March 2025 Meridian and Coast Capital said motusbank would wind down, pending approval, and that deposit accounts would move to Coast Capital. If you can still sign in somewhere, download the PDF from the institution that actually holds the account. This page does not invent menu names for a site that was closing.

What the credit unions published

Opened 19 October 2026. Coast Capital's March 26, 2025 release is the joint announcement with Meridian. motusbank was set to wind down, pending regulatory approval, within a year. Most lending held by Ontario residents was to move to Meridian in spring 2025. All deposit accounts, from every province, plus lending outside Ontario and a small set of Ontario lending, were to move to Coast Capital, pending approval and closing conditions. The release says members would get guidance, support channels would stay open until closure, and motusbank deposits remained eligible for CDIC insurance while motusbank was still operating. This page does not add a calendar date for the last day of the old login. A date that is not in that release would be a guess.

Coast Capital's later president and CEO message says Coast Capital welcomed nearly 7,000 members following the acquisition of motusbank's assets and liabilities, as that digital bank wound down. That sentence is Coast Capital speaking in the past tense about the move. It still does not print a click path inside the old motusbank site.

Which statement steps to use

Look at the logo on the sign in page and on the statement itself. If the account is at Coast Capital, follow how to download a Coast Capital statement. If the account is at Meridian, follow how to download a Meridian statement. A loan that moved and a chequing account that moved can land at different institutions. Ontario lending was described as mostly Meridian. Deposits were described as Coast Capital. Your letter from the credit union is the list that matters.

Do not type a password into a page that is only a maintenance notice, and do not follow a download link from a search ad. Use the credit union's own site, or the message in your account. Save any statement you can still open. One PDF per month is enough for a later question about a fee. If the old site will not sign you in, call the credit union that sent the transition letter and ask how to get a copy of a statement from before the move. This guide does not invent a copy fee, because the March 2025 release does not print one.
