How to download a Scotiabank statement PDF

Scotiabank's help centre says you can download one month or a year of statements as a PDF. You do that in your own login. Expenvo does not sign in to Scotiabank, and the file stays on your device.

What the help centre says

Scotiabank's help article How do I view my bank account statements?, updated 10 October 2025, says to start from the home screen, select the account, then select Statements in the account menu. On that page you can download one monthly statement, or select Download all as PDF for the current year. A dropdown reaches earlier years, up to 7 years.

The statements centre describes a close path: from the accounts page, select the account, then Documents. In the app it says tap the account, then Manage, then View all statements. If the labels differ, use the screen you are on and the help article.

Save a PDF, not a screenshot. How to read a statement PDF is the next page. One period per file is enough.

Questions

Does Expenvo sign in to the bank and download the PDF for me?
No. You download the PDF from the bank or card site. Expenvo reads that file on your device. It does not ask for the bank password.
Can I upload a photo of the statement instead?
A photo is harder to read. Use the PDF the bank creates, with text you can select. If the file asks for a password, download a copy that does not. Expenvo cannot open a locked PDF.
What if the menu names do not match this page?
Banks move buttons. Follow the official help page linked below. This guide is a reading of that page, not a second set of rules.
