RBC stop payment is C$12.50 online

By Karla CastroUpdated November 1, 2026

RBC's additional account services page prints C$12.50 for each cheque or pre-authorized payment when you complete the stop in RBC Online Banking, and C$25.00 when a branch or a Telephone Banking agent completes it.

Online or with a person

Opened 1 November 2026. The stop payment row is priced per cheque or pre-authorized payment. Completing the request yourself in RBC Online Banking is C$12.50. Asking a branch or a Telephone Banking agent to complete it is C$25.00. The page does not print a third price for a stop placed in the mobile app, so this guide does not invent one.

The fee can post as its own line, in the currency of the account. The page does not print the statement name. A stop on one cheque is not automatically the price of a series unless RBC tells you the request covers more than one item.

The price you place yourself

Complete the stop in RBC Online Banking when the item is one you can enter there. That printed price is C$12.50, against C$25.00 with a branch or a telephone agent. The page does not print a package that waives the stop. Interac e-Transfer is a different service.

Upload the statement on Expenvo. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo lists the lines. It does not sign in to the bank, and it does not stop the payment.

No. It names RBC Online Banking for the C$12.50 price, and a branch or Telephone Banking agent for the C$25.00 price.
