TD in-branch wire to TD is C$16

By Karla CastroUpdated November 1, 2026

TD Canada Trust's bank account fees page prints C$16 for an in-branch wire to another TD account, and C$50 for an in-branch wire to a non-TD account in Canada or abroad. Receiving a wire is C$17.50. The page does not print a separate online wire price.

The in-branch prices

Opened 1 November 2026. Those amounts are printed for the TD All-Inclusive Banking Plan, TD Unlimited Chequing Account, TD Every Day Chequing Account, TD Minimum Chequing Account, and TD Student Chequing Account. A wire to any other TD account is C$16. A wire to a non-TD account, inside Canada or internationally, is C$50. Receiving a wire is C$17.50. An amendment, cancellation, or investigation is C$25. The page does not split the C$50 into a domestic price and a different international price.

The fee can show as its own line, separate from the amount sent. Another bank can still take a charge out of a wire that leaves TD.

What TD says instead of the C$16

For the C$16 wire to another TD account, the page says you can avoid the fee by using a direct account transfer to another TD account. For the C$50 wire to a non-TD account, the page does not print a way to avoid the fee. For the C$25 amendment, it says to check the details before you send. Interac e-Transfer is a different service, with its own fees on the same page.
