Truist stop payment is $35

By Karla CastroUpdated November 1, 2026

Truist's personal deposit accounts fee schedule, effective September 28, 2026, prints a stop payment fee of $35.00 each. A footnote says there is no stop payment fee for Truist Marquee Checking, and for Truist One Checking in Level 3, Level 4, and Level Premier.

The $35 fee

Opened 1 November 2026. The personal fee list prints Stop Payment Fee at $35.00 each. Footnote 1 says there is no stop payment fee for Truist Marquee Checking accounts and for Truist One Checking accounts in Level 3, Level 4, and Level Premier. The schedule does not print a separate online dollar under the $35.00 line.

The fee can post as its own line. The schedule does not print the statement wording. A no fee footnote is about the request charge. It does not say every item is caught.

Accounts with no fee

Use the footnote before you pay $35.00. Truist Marquee Checking has no stop payment fee. Truist One Checking has no stop payment fee in Level 3, Level 4, and Level Premier. Other personal accounts on the schedule print $35.00 each. Truist has no separate bank hub on Expenvo. The overdraft page for Truist is a different fee.

Upload the statement on Expenvo. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo lists the lines. It does not sign in to the bank, and it does not stop the payment.
