U.S. Bank outgoing wire is $30

By Karla CastroUpdated November 1, 2026

U.S. Bank's consumer pricing information, effective August 10, 2026, prints $30 for a domestic outgoing wire and $50 for an international outgoing wire. A wire between two U.S. Bank accounts is $25 outgoing. Other banks can still deduct fees from the amount.

The wire lines in the PDF

Opened 1 November 2026. Domestic incoming is $20.00. A domestic internal incoming wire, where both accounts are at U.S. Bank, is $15.00. Domestic outgoing is $30.00. Domestic internal outgoing is $25.00. International incoming is $25.00. International outgoing is $50.00. The footnote says other institutions may deduct fees from the transfer. Money received in a foreign currency is converted to U.S. dollars by U.S. Bank, and that exchange rate includes the bank's profit, fees, costs, and charges.

The $30 or $50 can post as its own line. It is not the same as a fee another bank takes out of the principal before it arrives.

The smaller internal wire

If both accounts are at U.S. Bank, the outgoing wire is $25.00 instead of $30.00. That is the internal domestic line. It is still a wire fee. The PDF also waives wire transfer fees on the first two incoming wires for some Smartly benefits. That waiver is incoming, not the $30 you pay to send.
