Wells Fargo cashier's check is $10
By Karla CastroUpdated November 2, 2026
Wells Fargo's consumer account fee schedule, effective July 28, 2026, prints $10 for each cashier's check and $5 for a money order up to $1,000. Prime Checking and Premier Checking have no fee for cashier's checks or money orders.
The printed prices
Opened 2 November 2026. Cashier's checks are $10 each. A money order, up to $1,000, is $5 each. A stop payment on a lost, stolen, or destroyed cashier's check is a different line, and that line is no fee. The $10 and the $5 can each post on their own. The schedule does not print the statement wording.
The product pages for Prime Checking and Premier Checking say there is no fee for cashier's checks or money orders. Other consumer accounts use the $10 and $5 lines. The schedule says some accounts waive fees, so match the account name before you pay.
Accounts with no fee
If the statement says Prime Checking or Premier Checking, the schedule prints no fee for the cashier's check and no fee for the money order. Other accounts print $10 and $5. Ordering a cashier's check is not the same as a wire. The wire prices are on the Wells Fargo wire page.
Upload the statement on Expenvo. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo lists the lines. It does not sign in to the bank, and it does not buy the check.
