How to download a CIBC statement PDF
CIBC's own tutorial says where an eStatement sits. Download that PDF yourself. Expenvo does not sign in to CIBC, and the file stays on your device.

Online banking
These steps are from CIBC's How to find and understand your eStatements tutorial.
Sign on. On the homepage, select My Documents. Select Account statements. Choose the account. Statements are listed by date. CIBC says that when you select one, a PDF downloads to your device. Use that PDF, not a screenshot of the account list.
The app, and how far back
In the CIBC Mobile Banking app, the same tutorial says to select More, then My documents, then Account statements, then the account and the statement date.
CIBC's eStatements page says you can view up to 7 years of credit card and bank account eStatements. A Canadian dollar account stays in C$. How to read a statement PDF covers one statement per file.
Questions
- Does Expenvo sign in to the bank and download the PDF for me?
- No. You download the PDF from the bank or card site. Expenvo reads that file on your device. It does not ask for the bank password.
- Can I upload a photo of the statement instead?
- A photo is harder to read. Use the PDF the bank creates, with text you can select. If the file asks for a password, download a copy that does not. Expenvo cannot open a locked PDF.
- What if the menu names do not match this page?
- Banks move buttons. Follow the official help page linked below. This guide is a reading of that page, not a second set of rules.
